Our Lady of Mt. Carmel feast day!

Today is the Feast Day of our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Believe it or not I had a visitation from Her, last summer. She came to me during a very dark period in my life. I knew it was Mother Mary when She came, but I didn’t know which form or veneration.

She wore a rich brown dress which an olive cape, and a golden crown. She held a banner that said something like courage and strength, and she said she was Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I had never heard of her before that moment, so as soon as I woke up from the trance I looked her up, and she turned out to be the real deal!

I gathered that she was telling me that I was stronger than I knew. That I had the strength and courage to overcome anything, and She was helping me. She lifted me out of the darkness and since then I have prayed to Her to help me overcome obstacles, and for protection against harm and evil. This is my favorite prayer to Her.
